"If you value your health, avoid dental treatment from Dr. Prashant Chetal – Sector 15A, Noida I had one of the most careless and medically negligent dental experiences of my life at this clinic. The damage done under Dr. Prashant Chetal’s care has now forced me into a far more complex and costly re-treatment process. ⸻ 1. Root Canal Failure – Missed Canal He performed a root canal but completely missed one full root, which was clearly visible in the CBCT scan I gave him before the treatment even started. Despite this, he misrepresented the root structure to both me and my mother. A post-treatment CBCT confirmed the canal was never touched — this is not a minor oversight, it’s gross negligence. ⸻ 2. Multiple Perforations The tooth also shows multiple perforations, further weakening the structure and making it high-risk to retreat. Any competent endodontist would consider this a failed root canal with long-term consequences. ⸻ 3. No Bite Test After Crown Placement After the root canal, he placed a crown without checking bite alignment. My mouth wouldn’t even close properly. I had to get the crown drilled later by another dentist to relieve pressure and allow basic jaw function. ⸻ 4. Low-Quality Dental Cleaning He performed a dental cleaning that was completely ineffective. The buildup remained, and it was clearly superficial. It felt rushed and careless — no attention to proper gum line or plaque removal. ⸻ 5. Filling Done Over Cavity He also placed fillings over active decay, failing to remove the cavity underneath — something that even basic-level dental training should avoid. ⸻ 6. Repeated Denial & Dismissive Behavior I visited his clinic at least five times after the procedure, giving him every opportunity to take responsibility. Each time, he dismissed my complaints with a smile and said “everything is fine.” He knowingly misled not just me, but also my senior citizen mother who was present with me during visits. ⸻ 7. Formal Escalation Was Avoided Only Due to Refund This case is serious enough to be escalated to the Dental Council of India and may also fall under Section 304A IPC (medical negligence). I have retained all relevant CBCT scans and supporting clinical documentation that clearly establish the errors made. The only reason I didn’t proceed with formal action is because the doctor refunded the full treatment cost, including travel, after being confronted with clear evidence. But let there be no doubt — the damage was already done, and the risk to other patients remains real. ⸻ Final Word If this review saves even one person from going through what I did, it’s worth writing.
